LOCAL ORGANISER

Our partner on-site is taking care of the organization and execution of the event. Read more about the background of WVR.

The watersports club Richterswil (WVR) was founded in 1975. For over 45 years, the club has united polysport enthusiasts in the sections sailing (windsurfing), SUP/kayak (paddle sports) and motorboat. The WVR is a member of Swiss Sailing and the Lake Zurich Sailing Association.

In addition to an active club life, the WVR provides its members with sailing boats, SUPs and kayaks/paddle boats. In addition, the WVR has an excellent infrastructure in the Shedhalle Horn with club room, checkroom and storage space directly on the lake at the Horn Richterswil.

The WVR has an active youth group with regular sail training (J+S), the regatta group also participates in regattas and training on other lakes. In the SUP/kayak section there are regular technique workshops and joint excursions. In addition, the WVR supports the adult sports instructor training SUP and canoe. The SUP section is in the process of being established and is the WVR member group that has grown the most in recent years. Find out more about WVR here.
